The things that I am going to talk about and that I break up into separate points are development milestones. I’ll also touch on analytics and A/B testing. ![]() I’d like to talk about one of the most interesting stages in a match-3 project – creating new elements. Īt Playrix, I’m in charge of match-3 gameplay in Gardenscapes. If you take a few weeks off, you get a “jackbox” just for returning, a BUNCH of goodies and like half an hour of free lives so you can pass the amazing level.Īnd if you haven’t had the other special events with redecorating the mansion, find yourself one or two things that you really like in that level and save up for them (knowing the best thing is probably the grand prize youd need to pay to get)Īnd/or find something cute and cheep that you “collect” for each event- for me it is the mailbox for the mansion, and the dog house for that side garden :) then if I just have the small thing I’m happy. What follows is an edited transcript of Aleksandr’s presentation at White Nights St.Petersburg. I’ve also “camped” at levels for a week, or took two weeks off and then returned. The only time I’ve gotten the BIG prize was a team event, amd then a team member probably bought something.Īt least this one refills the lightening. ![]() The “inner room” decorations NEVER get finished (by me). ![]() I have a feeling that a lot of these things intentionally have a level or two that require you to buy something to get the final prize, whether it is a mystery hunt or redecorating the mansoin or side garden with the tree house.
